Eleanor and Patrick had the most beautiful wedding day at the Victory Arts Center in Fort Worth. Victory Arts was formerly a girl’s boarding school that opened in 1910 and also served as a convent for the Sisters. In the 1980’s the upkeep of the convent became too difficult and costly for the few remaining elderly sisters so in the early 1990’s they sought to obtain a demolition permit for the building. Thankfully the Historic Preservation Council took over and the building was purchased and renovated. In 2004, the building reopened it’s doors as Victory Arts Center and now offers dramatic loft spaces for lease and serves as a wedding and event venue! I love when wedding venues have such a rich and interesting history, so unique and special!
Eleanor is also a photographer, so I was honored when she reached out to me about capturing her wedding day! It’s a high compliment when a fellow photographer trusts you to capture a pivotal moment in their life! Her business, Honey and Wildfire Photography is based out of College Station and she takes the most beautiful photos.
