Nicki and Joe had a beautiful June wedding at the McGovern Gardens in Houston! You may remember these two from their engagement session at Buffalo Bayou Park last fall. We had so much fun strolling throughout the park chatting, their engagement session is definitely a favorite of mine!
Nicki and Joe’s wedding day began at Hotel Zaza in the museum district. Their spacious suites had perfect views of the Houston skyline making it one of the best spots in Houston to get ready! After all the hair and makeup was done we took a few bridesmaid portraits of the girls in their adorable getting ready pajamas before heading on to Epiphany of the Lord Catholic Church in Katy.
Moments before the ceremony, Nicki and Joe stole a quiet moment together behind a door without seeing one another where they shared their excitement about the day. After a traditional ceremony we all headed to the Cherie Flores Garden Pavilion at McGovern Gardens for the reception!
The gardens were stunning and the perfect place for portraits! There were so many beautiful flowers and greenery all around! Throughout the day and especially their reception it was clear that Nicki and Joe are very loved. Their family and friends gathered round to support these two and cheer them on throughout the day. I was very touched by the speeches their family members gave saluting the couple. I’m sure these two will go on to do great things in life!
Many congratulations to the new Mr. and Mrs. Francisco!! Thank you for trusting me to capture your day and allowing me to be a part of this exciting season of life. I wish you both many years of joy and happiness in your marriage together!!
