Rheegan and Zachary Engaged

A Moore Ranch Engagement
Millican, Texas

It was grey and rainy the day of Rheegan and Zachary’s engagement session which made me a little nervous, but Rheegan was willing to wait and see what the weather did as the time of their session approached. Lucky for us the sun went away just in time for their session! This lead to some really awesome light and clouds with a beautiful, colorful sunset at Moore Ranch in Millican, Texas! Moore ranch is a 2000 acre, fourth generation working farm and ranch nestled along the banks of the Brazos River. (mooreranchonthebrazos.com) Rheegan and Zachary are planning their wedding for next October underneath the huge, ancient, beautiful oak trees on the ranch! This is definitely one of my favorite venues around College Station because of the historic, rustic nature.

When a hairstylist meets a farmer, that makes for a fun match! I really enjoyed meeting Rheegan and Zachary on the ranch and hearing their story. For their proposal, Zachary blindfolded Rheegan and drove her out to a friend’s ranch where he walked her out to a huge pecan tree. The tree had lights hung and balloons that were her favorite color all around! Rheegan said yes and they celebrated the rest of the night with their family and friends. Spending time with loved ones is one of the most important things to Rheegan and Zachary, so I’m sure their wedding will be a joyful celebration of their marriage with all their closest family and friends! Congratulations on your engagement Rheegan and Zachary – I can’t wait to celebrate with you both!
