Stacy and Alvin make the sweetest pair and I’m so happy that they are now officially Mr. and Mrs. Tung! They were married last month on Justin’s and my 5 year wedding anniversary so we now share an anniversary! You may remember Stacy and Alvin from their fun, outdoor Fort Worth engagement session. In that post I share the story of how they met and why they’re perfect for one another! Stacy and Alvin had a beautiful ceremony at the chapel of the Laurel in Grapevine, Texas. It was my first time out at the Laurel and the chapel is absolutely stunning.
The day started with the bridal party getting ready in the natural-light filled getting ready suites on the Laurel’s property, everyone was laughing and having a great time – just the way it should be on your wedding day. Soon after, Stacy and Alvin shared the sweetest first look as they giggled and laughed with one another in the excitement of the day. When couple’s are able to share a quiet moment together on their wedding day to reflect, it’s almost always one of my favorite parts of the day! I vividly remember being intentional on my own wedding day about taking a few moments with Justin and they are some of my most treasured memories of the day.
After their first look Stacy and Alvin had a tea ceremony with their closest family members, I love when couples are able to honor their family traditions and pay tribute to the different cultures that have made them who they are. Stacy then changed back into her wedding dress just in time to walk down the alter to say “I do!” Following their ceremony their reception was opened with many heartwarming speeches by their loved ones – Stacy and Alvin are clearly very loved and are an example to many of Christ’s love! After a wonderful dinner catered by Gil’s Catering, they opened the dance floor and danced the night away.
Many congratulations to the new Mr. and Mrs. Tung!! I wish you both many years of joy and happiness in your marriage together!!
