An Aggie Engagement Session

Although I often have graduation sessions on the Texas A&M University campus, it’s not often that I get to do an engagement session there! Being an Aggie myself, I was thrilled when Chelsea and Daniel decided to have their session on the A&M campus! I really enjoyed getting to know these two as we traipsed across the Aggie campus.
Chelsea and Daniel got engaged at sunset on the beach this past summer and in Chelsea’s words it was in “the most perfect way she could have ever imagined.” Daniel definitely knows his girl! He made sure all the details were perfect from their outfits, to Chelsea’s favorite food and drinks. One evening, they drove down to one of their favorite beaches to relax. Right before sunset, Dan asked Chelsea to walk down to the water with him where he got down on one knee and proposed – she of course said yes!
I just love this session! I am especially obsessed with the Century tree photos! There’s an old Aggie Tradition that says if a couple walks together under the branches of the Century Tree (one of the oldest trees on campus) they are destined to be together forever. With a tradition like that, it’s one of the most popular places on campus for proposals. In fact, there was a proposal that took place very shortly after we took these photos!
