The Laurel

Kelsey and Nate had a stunning July wedding at the Laurel in Grapevine! The Laurel is the perfect summer venue for a wedding in Texas. Since we usually reach 100+ degree temperatures, it’s so great to have a venue that has amazing portrait spots both indoors and outdoors and the Laurel had just that! You may remember Kelsey and Nate from their Aggie engagement session last fall on the Texas A&M campus – these two are so cute together and have such a special relationship! They met their first day at A&M in poly sci when Kelsey complimented Nate’s Ranger jersey and snagged the seat next to him. Who would have thought years later they’d be tying the knot!?
Their wedding day was so joyful and it’s clear these two are very loved! They both had such fun, encouraging, bridal parties that kept the dance floor full during the reception! Kelsey and Nate’s bride and groom portraits are my favorites from their day. Because they decided to share a first look with one another we had some amazing opportunities to capture them in different locations around the venue both inside and out. I love when couples are able to sneak out for a few portraits during their reception at sunset and I’m so thankful Kelsey and Nate prioritized this time for their couple’s portraits.
